Wales hosts partners from across Europe at innovative virtual learning journey
The Welsh Government’s Innovation team hosted the final virtual learning journey for the first phase of COHES3ION project, a three-year EU Interreg project which brings together 10 partners from eight European countries — including Wales —with the aim of promoting business growth and job creation across Europe through best practice and policy. COHES3ION - Smart Territorial Mapping (STM) published
One of the key outputs from Phase 1 of the Cohes3ion project has been completed with the publication of its Policy Learning Document. The aim of the STM exercise was for project partners from across Europe to carry out a regional diagnosis of their Smart Specialisation Strategies, the findings will be used for the development and Implementation of Regional Action Plans in the next phase of the project. Face Mask Challenge for Innovative Businesses
The SBRI Centre Excellence, supported by Welsh Government, are calling upon businesses to come forward with innovative solutions that can be rapidly deployed to address a key challenge facing Dental Services as a result of COVID-19. The Welsh Government and the SBRI Centre of Excellence, are looking to support innovative projects that help communities, businesses or the public sector adapt to the ongoing threats of COVID-19. The Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI), which can offer up to £50,000 to promising projects support businesses with innovative products and services that will help communities and the public sector adapt to the ongoing impact of the coronavirus pandemic. COHES3ION virtual journey continues
As a partner in the COHES3ION project the Welsh Government will continue its virtual visits of partner regions, with the next stop in the Southern Region of Ireland. This visit will take place on the 15 th October and will form part of the agenda for the EU Week of Cities and Regions side events.
