Lightbulb - green energy

Wales Climate Week returns from 11 to 15 November, bringing people together from across Wales to learn and explore innovative solutions for tackling and adapting to climate change.

The Week this year will coincide with the United Nations COP29 climate change conference. It will provide an opportunity for climate decision-makers, stakeholders, community groups and people from across Wales to explore how together we can minimise the risk and prepare for and prepare for the impacts of climate change, as well as capitalising on the links with climate mitigation.

Join in on discussions about action taking place internationally and within Wales to adapt our homes, communities and businesses to increasing heatwaves, droughts, storms, floods and coastal erosion. Learn more about how we can safeguard our food production systems, natural resources, infrastructure and built environment and ensure we are prepared for a more climate resilient future.

This year’s programme will include the following events and activities:

  • 5-day virtual conference
  • Climate Conversations fund
  • Fringe events
