Recruitment Support

The Young Person’s Guarantee is the Welsh Government’s key commitment to provide everyone aged 16 to 24, living in Wales, with support to gain a place in education or training, and help to get into work or become self-employed.

Help your existing staff gain the qualifications and skills your business needs through a free, flexible college course.

Upskill your workforce in digital, exporting, engineering and manufacturing, creative sector and tourism and hospitality

Work with a trade union to develop a three-year training plan, focussed on improving workplace development, learning and essential skills of your staff – with a particular emphasis on removing barriers for traditional non-learners.

Healthy Working Wales helps employers, individuals and a range of health professionals to support working-age people in Wales to stay fit and healthy so they can remain in employment, or return to work following a period of ill health.


Training Support

We all have the right to work. Get a grant to help towards the additional costs associated with barriers faced by a disabled person in work and practical advice for businesses wishing to employ people with disabilities.

If you’re an employer looking to recruit or expand your workforce with appropriately skilled, trained and motivated staff then the Welsh Government’s Community Employability Programmes could be just what you need.

The In-Work Support Service provides rapid access to tailored occupational therapy, physiotherapy and psychological therapy services, designed to help employed or self-employed people return to work or manage a health condition in work.

The Out of Work Service provides peer mentoring and employability support to people who are in recovery from substance misuse and/or mental ill-health. Employers can benefit from three months of advice and support from peer mentors if they employ someone referred by the service.
