Event overview

Workshop attendees will learn about the lifecycle and clinical signs associated with liver fluke, rumen fluke, coccidiosis, cryptosporidiosis and ectoparasites such as lice and mites. The focus will be on control of these parasites, responsible use of anthelmintics and the importance of veterinary consultation in formulating a parasite control plan for individual farms.

Correct and efficient parasite control will result in increased herd health, productivity and profitability.
