Dig into diversification and cultivate new opportunities in horticulture!
Following the success of its launch in 2025, Farming Connect’s Bwyd o’r Tir – Growing for the future programme is back for a second season, to inspire more farmers in Wales to look at the exciting diversification options in horticulture and understand how to make it a successful business venture. Castell Howell and YFC will again be collaborating on the Bwyd o’r Tir – Growing for the future programme following last year's success.
As part of the wider Agrisgôp programme, ‘Bwyd o’r Tir’- Growing for the future offers farmers over the age of 16 the chance to explore profitable vegetable production through study visits to farms, showcasing different crops and business models.
Get ready to be inspired by leading growers from across Wales and beyond!
The programme includes two overnight study visits to a diverse array of horticultural businesses, one of these study visits will be in North Wales and the other in South Wales, where industry experts will share crucial business and financial advice to help cultivate your own successful horticulture venture. There will be supplementary virtual sessions to hear from sector specialists and gain further support for your diversification ideas.
