A 3 day intensive training course with an integrated assessment and certificate issued upon successful completion.
Felling trees can be a dangerous task. That is why it's important to make sure you have the confidence, knowledge and skills needed to do it safely. This course will provide you with the techniques and safety information you need to ensure that you are not only confident, but safe when felling trees over 380mm. Course sessions: HSE legislation and safety guidelines, felling, additional felling techniques, snedding and de-limbing, cross-cutting felled timber, taking down hung-up trees, stump treatment, clearing site, and chainsaw checks. You must already hold your Maintenance, Crosscutting and Felling under 380mm qualifications to attend this course.
