The simple dictionary definition of propagation is as follows: the act of producing a new plant from a parent plant.
Methods of propagating hardy nursery  species (HNS) are often specific to the species or plant type and different plants are propagated by different methods. The best way of propagating individual species of economic interest (including the mother plants growth stage) is well documented.
