This course will look at factors relating to farm emissions and maximising carbon sequestration within sustainable farming and land management practices. Energy efficiency strategies will be discussed as well as energy production via renewable technologies as a way to reduce costs and the greenhouse gas emissions associated with farm businesses. Livestock health and emissions are also a focus as livestock contribute the largest proportion of all agricultural emissions.
