Investments in equipment that will help to deliver animal welfare benefits and ultimately assist the business in operating to high standards and remaining viable. In this way it will help to ensure that the plant remains available to its many stakeholders – farmers, butchers, cutting plants, distributors and consumers. The project will also support the safeguarding of jobs in the company.
