The Coastal Way - Discover your Epic

The overall purpose of the project is to develop a marketing campaign that will position Gwynedd, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire as outstanding year round tourism destinations through aligning with VW's thematic Year of Discovery and in particular the newly launched Coastal Way as part of The Wales Way initiative. The project will allow the three destinations to further develop The Coastal Way product by developing engaging destination content that will allow partners to deliver an innovative marketing campaign. All developed content and marketing campaigns will aim to address the main key identified objectives:

  • Improve seasonality
  • Increase tourism spend
  • Increase destination brand and tourism business exposure
  • Align with Visit Wales approach for the thematic years and The Wales Way
