A feasibility project into boosting the tourism/ footfall into Montgomery. They are looking at making the town hall into a wedding venue package as Montgomery can offer catering, venue, flowers all within the town centre. They are also making links with the Walkers are Welcome status which they have just received to come up with some new links and tourism ideas off the back of this. They are also looking to develop an event at a time in the year when it is rather quiet to help bring people into the area.
This project is looking into the feasibility of this area being able to offer this and what other ideas can they come up with to help boost the area. The project needs to have a report and the end to show all of the findings, what worked and what didn't it needs to be done in a way that it can be used by other towns and villages, the whole project is 3 years.
