Electric Car Charging Points

The last three years has seen a tremendous increase in the demand for electric vehicles in the UK; new registrations of electric vehicles increased from 3,500 in 2013 to more than 43,000 by the end of September 2015. With national hotel companies such as Travelodge and Premier Inn installing electric car charging points on their sites, it is important that we compete with this changing market. The project aims to increase the awareness of the possible economic benefits of installing electric car charging points by installing 5 such points in Gwynedd as part of a 12-month pilot. This will be done by installing 5 points at suitable locations in the Coastal Area of Meirionnydd.
