The Community Interest Company is seeking support to record in-depth, accurate, and reliable data about the moorland ecosystem using repeatable methods to be able to:
A) track changes brought about by funded intervention primarily for the benefit of ground-nesting birds,
B) adapt to changes in climate, and
C) place a tradeable value on moorland assets. The CIC expects to achieve an increase in ground-nesting birds, a resilient moorland, and a shift towards establishing ecosystem service markets for rural Wales.
