Pantri Taldraeth

Producing Taldraeth home produce, under the name Pantri Taldraeth e.g. ‘from the garden to the jar’, such as jams, jellies and chutneys.

Establish the Pantry, i.e. a separate room/unit to prepare and produce, with the majority of the produce grown in the garden where possible (the produce grown in the garden is less than 90% of all ingredients and produce).

The pantry needs to be a separate room/unit from the domestic kitchen due to lack of storage space and in order to keep the preparation for Pantri Taldraeth separate to ensure food hygiene.

Investment is needed to install units in the pantry, ‘backsplash’, sink, door, windows, renovate a damp wall, plumbing and electrical work for equipment, kitchen/cooking equipment, in order to make the work area usable and clean.

Also, we need to create a convenient storage facility to store fruits such as apples and vegetables along with other specific equipment that needs to be stored. It is important that produce is stored correctly so that they can keep for a longer period e.g. on trays/boxes/drawers allowing plenty of air to circulate between them.
