The objective is to diversify the business away from reliance on clearfel harvesting to the more bespoke services of working in inaccessible parcels of woodland, hence the need for this investment.
Our investment proposition will result in significant improvement for the company, which in turn will allow us to improve the flexibility and capacity to process, mobilise timber and use timber in the supply chain. The flexibility that the additional specialist equipment will provide us with will enable us to work with a whole variety of species that i) need to be managed, ii) encourage to be grown and iii) provide an economic value and demand for.
The investment, which can only happen with grant funding will improve the financial viability of our operations and enable us to improve and grow accordingly, significantly improving our resilience.
