Galeri was opened at Doc Fictoria, Caernarfon in 2006 as multi-functional arts and business centre and the regional centre for Welsh media and the arts. It has been awarded £1.48m Tourism Attractor Destination fund (TAD) support to double the size of the existing centre and so help grow the business and build Caernarfon as a destination.
The new extension has left parts of the existing site short of a similar quality. The trustees are therefore keen to bring forward a major upgrade of the centre’s existing facilities in keeping with the new extension. The project will deliver an indoor play area, an upgrade to the existing theatre, digital screens, EV charging points, and a creative arts space.
