The project will cover three distinct areas to improve the saleability of Wales as a Dark Sky Nation.
These are:
- Designation,
- Business Training and
- Exemplar Events.
This project wants to formalise this by surveying the night sky for the entire country, collaborate with local authorities, business and the general public to raise awareness of the environmental, economic and well-being benefits to the nation’s population. Such Global recognition would elevate Wales’s status and inspire new ways of utilising the landscape/nightscape for the betterment of the nation and provide a lasting legacy for future generations.
