Wi-Fi in “Community Schools” - Conwy County Borough Council (CCBC) will provide free Wi-Fi in the community buildings attached to the four schools, enabling the local community to make use of it when they are attending meetings and classes there. This will be a three year trial during which the uptake will be monitored.
Town Centre Wi-Fi - Conwy County Borough Council (CCBC) will provide free Wi-Fi in the square in Llanrwst and outside the Train Station in Betws y Coed. This will be the same service currently available at CCBC Offices, Leisure Centres, Schools and other public buildings. This will be a three year trial during which the uptake will be monitored
Abergele Town Centre Wi-Fi - Conwy County Borough Council (CCBC) will provide free Wi-Fi along the main road in Abergele town centre. This will be the same service currently available at CCBC Offices, Leisure Centres, Schools and other public buildings – and provided under LEADER in Llanrwst and Betws y Coed.
This will be a three year trial during which the uptake will be monitored, though unlike our other projects there will be no ongoing costs to meet as we are only extending the Wi-Fi already available in the library.
