As part of the ‘Cynnal Coetir’ SMS project, Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust are holding a ‘Woodland Management Day’ on the 14 May 12.30-4pm, at the Woodland Skills Centre Bodfari, Denbighshire
Speaking on the day will be –
- Rod Waterfield – Woodland expert and Woodland skills centre manager
- Dr Craig Shuttleworth – Expert on Red squirrel conservation and Grey squirrel management – associated with Bangor University and The Red Squirrel Trust
- Lee Oliver – GWCT Project’s Manager in Wales – ‘Cynnal Coetir’ Elwy valley co-ordinator.
- Owain Barton – PhD student looking at the Fallow deer population within the Elwy valley area.
The afternoon will involve a series of short talks indoors and then a walk and talk around the woodlands to highlight the issues discussed.
