The 'Three Parishes for the Common Good' SMS of upland commons project held a two day Roadshow and Symposiums back in August. The project was based on and around the commons of Llanwrthwl, Llysdinam and Llanfihangel Bryn Pabuan.
The aim was to create a better habitat management on common land in coordination with partners including National Trust and RSPB. To include hefting cattle and long-term control of bracken using different methods and encouraging end uses.
Improved public benefit by increasing facilities for DoE and city groups; signage; organised educational visits, support for Llysdinam Field Studies Centre.
