The Wales Rural Network Support Unit (WRNSU) supports a forum to promote the exchange of expertise in rural development. WRNSU is open to anyone interested in rural development or involved with the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 and the schemes it funds.

 

Part of the Welsh Government, the Welsh European Funding Office (WEFO) manages the delivery of the European Structural Funds Programmes in Wales.

Successful projects celebrated at our Celebrating Rural Wales event

Four of the many successful projects to benefit from the European Union’s Rural Development Programme (RDP) have received awards for their achievements at a two-day event held at the Royal Welsh Showground.

This allocation of funding responds to the ending of the EU Rural Development Programme (RDP), which will close in 2023. It will ensure continuity of support for important actions previously funded under the RDP.
