Many areas in Britain and elsewhere have designated status such as UNESCO, AONB, etc. The aim of this scheme is see whether if it is possible to take advantage of the brand and status of the designated area in order to stimulate/ maximize added benefit for businesses and communities within that area. The scheme will be piloted for a period of two years; it is expected that the scheme will be led following the recruitment of an animator. It is expected that the work of the animator to develop capacity and support activities will focus on promoting and maximizing the designated brand.
