Welsh Government is encouraging a new approach to community planning in Wales and County Councils are being encouraged to support local communities in preparing locally based Place Plans with the aim of having these adopted by the County Council as Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG) to sit below the Local Development Plan.
Cynlluniau Lle Ceredigion Place Plans is a “Bottom up” approach giving the community an opportunity to come together and discuss what needs to happen to make their place the best it can possibly be. The Place Plans process is a way for you’re the community to address land use and development issues and concerns at the local, community level, as well as to achieve local aspirations.
