The pilot study is intended to trial community electric cars in Gwynedd. The intention is to place 2 cars in communities, thus promoting the use of a community car that will be available to serve the area as well as promoting the use of electric cars.
The community electricity cars will be located in three communities in Gwynedd. Emphasis will be placed on the community to run the scheme, with the intention of monitoring it to see whether it is possible to continue the scheme in the long term to meet local needs.
