The project will look into the potential for renewable energy generation on farms and other sites in Carmarthenshire. The project will look at a broad number of sites initially using a set of constraints, before narrowing down those with sites most potential and looking at the viability in more detail and moving them forwards.
The project will also work to promote understanding of energy and the importance of using it efficiently. This will be done through both arranging site visits to our wind turbine, solar array, battery and car-charging points in Salem and visiting schools, colleagues, businesses and other groups to talk about renewable energy, energy efficiency and how actions we take as individuals can help mitigate climate change.
