To organise and deliver a series of food tourism events in Torfaen. Including a Food Festival in Big Pit, a variety of community events, food markets and food / produce related activities.
- Increase selling opportunities for local producers, by developing food hubs and regular markets and events
- Increase the availability of locally sourced produce to residents of Torfaen
- Develop an awareness of the benefits of buying local to the local economy and environment, health and wellbeing
- Increase Food Tourism and develop Torfaen as sustainable food tourism destination
