To determine the feasibility, scope and potential economic impact of improving the heritage value and accessibility of the Abbey Road / Castle Street junction and Lower Dee Mill Park.
The recommendations of the feasibility study will identify improvements that if implemented would:
a) Better showcase Llangollen’s distinctive character and heritage assets
b) Provide spaces to appreciate and learn about the history, landscape and people of the town
c) Create more business and cultural opportunities, adding to the town’s character and economic base
d) Improve pedestrian safety at the junction, and potentially improve pedestrian access to the Llangollen Health Centre and Wenffrwd.
