Helo Port

As towns and cities begin to emerge from the challenges of coronavirus, local decision makers are beginning to redefine a sense of place to try to rebuild the connection back into the community.

The 'Helo Lamp Post' company, based in London, provides people with easier access to local information and allows communities to feedback on the areas in which they live. This in turn informs better decision makers about the needs and interests of the community.

By inviting people to have playful conversations with familiar street objects such as lamp posts, mailboxes, statues and bus stops, using a mobile phone, 'HLP' encourages playful interaction with their environment to create positive social change and more inclusive communities, improving local democracy and helping to build the towns of the future.
