A partnership approach between Tir Coed and Coed Cymru to increase the value of woodland in the Pembrokeshire region to provide a range of social, economic and environmental outcomes.
The new partnership will exploit the synergies of both organisations widening the scope of the project and developing the ‘Woodland Hub’ principle; engaging and advising local landowners and members of the public to manage trees and woodlands, increasing the economic opportunities from trees and timber, providing local supply-chains for timber from well-managed woodlands, facilitating training opportunities and progression routes into employment for local people and facilitating opportunities for disadvantaged groups to access the holistic woodland environment.
