Orchards and you is a two phase project the Rural innovation scheme fund will be used to fund
Phase 1. Research, Feasibility Study and Businesses Plan to inform phase 2.
Phase 2. Project development and realisation using the information gathered in Phase 1 the group will apply for funding to implement the project.
The applicant TCBC leads a partnership of organisations and groups who have existing or are looking to establish new orchards within the borough with the principal focus of creating a new ‘home grown’ food, cooking and training product utilising the locally produced fruit, recently planted orchards, existing and new skill sets and facilities in Torfaen.
