Publish research and interpretation on Brechfa Forest Garden

Brechfa Forest Garden contains 97 trial plots where back in the 1950s and 60s different broadleaf and spruce species not normally included in managed forests were planted. The forest garden has been the subject of various research projects and monitoring of growth patterns of each species continues to evaluate how the species would respond to forest style management and climate change. Brechfa Forest and Llanllwni Mountain Tourism Cluster Association want to digitise, publish, and interpret the historical records. A launch event will be held once the work has been completed.

The project will raise the profile and explain the significance of the Forest Garden with the aim of increasing visitor numbers to the area.
