This pilot traditional skills (TBS) programme is to help build a prosperous, secure, active, ambitious and learning community. Through the TBS we hop to maximise our outcomes for heritage, people and communities through the development of training and education programmes.
It will help to raise awareness, knowledge, understanding and skills for the continued and sustainable use of traditional buildings (that is buildings of pre-1919 construction) both locally and regionally and embed traditional building skills into mainstream education construction programmes.
