SLIC will act as a catalyst for a new co-operative business venture, new courses and new ways of interacting with the wider world.
This project aims to build a working awareness of the creative and digital industries and how local people enter and compete in that world. SLIC will target local school students in year 12 alongside Further Education students from Coleg Sir Gâr, Higher Education students from UWTSD as well as recent graduates.
Events and workshop delivered by external industry experts will aim to inspire and exemplify how the creative industries can provide a sustainable income – essential to driving ambitious new talent into Canolfan S4C Yr Egin's new development.
