This project will provide flexible, tailored support to community groups who may be looking to take on an asset within the rural communities of Rhondda Cynon Taff (RCT) and Merthyr. The project will engage with organisations that wish to consider or undertake a transfer and deliver Action Plans which will review and highlight areas in community groups which require support such as: governance; board skills and experience; financial management systems, policies, business model,equal opportunities, community support, and work with the group to gain the skills to ensure they are ready to undertake an asset transfer.
