Through a two year-long phase of public engagement, education, active citizenship, research and sympathetic community management, the project will bring together people from local communities with specialists from a wide cross section of stakeholder organisations and encourage them to work together and take part in a series of walks, talks, surveys and inspirational activities and experiences which will embrace, promote and interpret mineral spoil localities. Communities will be encouragedto form interest groups around mineral spoil sites and work with the project to change the perception of rural Tip land areas
