This is a pilot project which aims to inspire students & young people to consider hospitality as a career and/or business. The project will deliver a pilot training film (and contact portal) that will provide a platform for new and inexperienced starters to learn more about the area and the local tourism sector. The film will be educational, will highlight key local attractions and include testimonials from business owners and young people who have forged a career in the local tourism industry.
The project aims to achieve an increase in recruiting new employees and/or new business start-ups to the tourism sector in the county. It will also look to retain the current skilled workforce through continuing professional development and inspiring more entrepreneurs to start quality tourism and hospitality businesses in the county.
