Providing a collective voice on behalf of all commercial growers in Wales, members from both groups will work in collaboration with each other, with Welsh Government and with relevant horticultural stakeholders in Wales, including higher education establishments.
Wales Horticulture Alliance Group
- Representing the aims and objectives of growers in Wales
- Influencing the future strategic direction of the horticulture industry
- Working with the Welsh Government and other stakeholder organisations to provide a new mission statement and strategy
Wales Plant Health Evidence and Advisory Group
- Representing the aims and objectives of growers in Wales
- Supply chain compliance and guidance
- Providing advance information about plant health threats and regulation updates
- Importing and exporting plants to and from the UK
- Peat-free growing strategies
