If your organisation currently shares one Helo Blod account between multiple people, choose who will link the account to their GOV.UK One Login before Helo Blod moves to GOV.UK One Login.
Why you need to choose someone
GOV.UK One Login is for individual users. Shared sign-ins will no longer be available.
The first person to link your organisation's existing Helo Blod account to their GOV.UK One Login will have access to your organisation’s existing account. They will be able to see:
- previous orders and requests
- account history
To avoid confusion, agree who will do this before the new sign-in process starts.
Who should link the account
Choose someone who manages your organisation's use of Helo Blod, such as:
- the main Helo Blod contact
- an administrator
- a manager
- someone who regularly submits translation requests on behalf of the organisation
Before you link the account
The person who will link the account should:
- create a GOV.UK One Login if they do not already have one
- use their own email address and mobile phone number
- not use a shared email address
- use an email address and mobile phone number they are likely to keep long term
Link your organisation's existing account
When Helo Blod moves to GOV.UK One Login:
- Go to Helo Blod and select Sign in.
- Sign in using a GOV.UK One Login account, or create one if needed.
- Follow the instructions to link the existing Helo Blod account.
If the email addresses are different
If the email address used for GOV.UK One Login is different from the one currently linked to the Helo Blod account, you may be asked to:
- confirm that you previously had access to the account
- enter the email address linked to the existing Helo Blod account
- enter a verification code sent to that email address
This helps make sure the correct Helo Blod account is linked.
Access Helo Blod after the move
After the account has been linked, everyone who needs access to Helo Blod must use their own GOV.UK One Login.
Shared sign-ins will no longer be available.
Each user must sign in using their own:
- email address
- password
- security code
