Anna Taylor
Having established Chilly Cow over 10 years ago, I have seen it flourish from concept to a well-established Welsh brand. It is important to appreciate the hard work that goes into developing a business and having gained a first-class honours degree in business along the way brought valuable insight to the business in all aspects, helping me to develop areas we don’t always consider as small business owners.
Chilly Cow has faced many challenges over the last ten years, but the resilience built off the back of this and the skills and confidence to adjust the journey along the way has been key, it is important to consider the flexibilities of a small business.
We have experience in both B2B trading and retail but also face challenges with the seasonality of our product, but we embrace this and find new and innovative ways to help meet the challenge this brings during quieter months.
With skills in business development, product development, branding, sales, packaging, costing and more I can bring valuable support and really help to identify needs; whilst considering actions to develop the business, but, sometimes as business owners, it can be a lonely place and we just need a listening ear, to talk through issues, anxieties or problems. Seeking out support when needed is key.
Resilience is key – knock backs are always going to happen in business, it’s how we deal with it, stand up, brush ourselves off and work out the next steps that build our confidence and tenacity.
