I support organisations to be more strategic in their communications, working with them to identify their audiences and enabling them to tell great stories about what they do.

I have managed communications, engagement and events for several of the UK’s leading institutions for over 15 years, including the University of Oxford, British Science Association and Informa Plc. I am an accredited public relations practitioner with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, and currently specialise in supporting organisations focused on science, technology, health, agriculture, and professional training.

My experience covers team leadership, organisational strategy, course marketing, events management, community engagement and local, national and international media relations.

In 2021 I set up my own communications consultancy and have tackled (and continue to tackle) many of the personal and operational challenges associated with developing a sustainable freelance venture.

I am driven to make a difference in everything I do and thrive on listening to others and supporting them to realise and achieve their goals. I am currently training as a strategic coach and mentor.
