Daniel James Davies

I have been working in the hospitality industry for over 20 years of which I have gained experience in a variety of food outlets. I ran a small mobile transport café for 5 years, followed by building a licenced restaurant. Over 11 years I grew the restaurant into a popular place to dine all year round. I have a, very “ hands on” approach to business but also delegate tasks in order to progress with other building projects.

I have now leased my restaurant out in order to continue to grow my property portfolio. We have 19 tenanted units which include residential, commercial and multi-let sites.

I am also a trained chef, a domestic electrical installer. I have certificates for first aid, food safety, wine tasting award, personal licence holder, pat testing and various other hospitality certificates.

I have a keen eye for detail and am very focused on making business decisions which help in its growth and to achieve greater profits.

Whilst purchasing and renovating a previous property I appeared in Homes under the Hammer.

I regularly attend auctions and have a passion for property renovations and maintenance. Some of our portfolio are managed by agents due to distance, but the ones closer to us we manage ourselves. This means we are Rent Smart Licenced.

I find with a lot of my projects, I work out the numbers to confirm if a project is viable and regularly formulate spreadsheets for different scenarios. I enjoy talking about business, brain storming and finding solutions to difficult problems.
