Deborah Nethercoat

Deborah Nethercoat spent 20 years working within corporate businesses across the UK and in the USA. She worked her way up from a role as a sales executive for a small office supplies company to becoming global Sales Consolidation Director at board level for a $12bn worldwide business, managing 2 operating companies with responsibility for over 150 sales people. Her main focus was business development and growth from both an operational and sales perspective.

Deborah later changed career direction after having a family, and in 2009 she and 2 business colleagues from her ‘corporate days’ found that there was a gap in the market to provide small and medium businesses with a sales development service - high level sales people could be provided to ‘do the doing’ in terms of selling and creating results. R2m Ltd (Route to Market) Sales Outsourcing was launched and today, the team consists of 10 highly experienced sales people who work with businesses of all sizes across the UK to create sales plans, create actions, sell the products and services and deliver results.

One of Deborah’s key skills is delivering results through people and creating opportunities for significant business growth. With a degree in Business Psychology and Organisational Behaviour, People and Process became a key strength, with the ability to identify process improvement requirements and to implement the changes through individuals and teams. This has been demonstrated in a number of Deborah’s roles ranging from concept of a new sales division within a global corporate organisation, to working with consultants to prepare a business for sale to a private equity group, and working with major corporate sales clients to develop new business through strategic contract management.

Deborah also delivers sales workshops across the country and in conjunction with organisations such as Coventry University, the R2m team provide courses on practical ways to develop sales and achieve key growth results.

Always have a sales plan that you stick to and measure the results. Prospect for new business every week without fail.
