After graduating Edward Ball spent 10 years working internationally both in the UK and Europe with Companies like Shell and Mobil. Following this he went on to work for several SME’s for a period of about 5 years before starting his own businesses employing between 5 and 50 people.
This background experience allowed him to enter the world of business consultancy which he has been doing for the last 20 years. He has found over the years an initial business analysis is always essential to find out where the organisation is. It is then important to understand what the owners and directors are trying to achieve. From there a strategy can be put in place to reach the ultimate goals.
Edward believes his own continual professional development is important in many areas, one of which was gaining formal mentoring qualifications. He saw this as an important skill simply because it is people who generally make businesses a success.
