Paul Corcoran

I have been self-employed since 2011. Before 2011 I was employed withing the Financial Services sector working for Barclays, Principality and Admiral. In all businesses I worked within the IT function where I fulfilled may roles from support to management and finally becoming a Senior Solutions Architect.

My primary knowledge is based in the IT and Telecommunication sector however, having been self-employed in some shape or form since I was 18 years old when I started repairing customer computers at the time where household computers were becoming the norm. I have nurtured my skills over the year since and acquired a lot of knowledge in being self-sufficient, in providing customer service, of being accountable and being effective at managing expectations. I specialise in bringing solutions to everyday business challenges.

I have gained an extensive knowledge of running a business, being the point of contact for employees, customers and supply chain. I specialize in IT security and Cyber Essentials compliance. I have a practical knowledge of the legal aspects of contracts and can provide advice on GDPR components.

I am an effective communicator, a confident person and one with good diplomatic skills. I enjoy seeing others succeed through the knowledge and skills I’ve been able to share.
