I have been working in finance since 2005, starting off with Woolwich in a call centre, progressing to a financial adviser in Lloyds and becoming a self employed financial adviser/financial planner in 2009.
I set up my first financial planning company in 2012 and the second in 2018.
As well as all the relevant qualifications required to enable me to do me do my job, I feel my job is a mixture of understanding behaviour and having up to date knowledge. For this reason I have completed many courses such as understanding body language, learning to talk to people to get them to talk about their emotions and wants in regards to financial and planning.
We are the first financial planning business to move to fully fixed fees in Wales. I believe that I have a strength of been able to show people from my experience that you can do things against the norm and be successful.
