After spending three decades in senior management roles at Director or CEO level in importing manufacturing and distributing timber products in the UK and Ireland, it’s time to use the skill base I have attained in helping businesses with some of the obstacles they will all find along the journey.
Currently Vice Chairman of the Archwood Group which incorporates three brands, my leadership trait was inclusive, and I endeavored to take the teams on a journey, at times having to make difficult decisions. I am internationally business travelled, which helped my experience with different cultures.
Strategy, planning and commercial astuteness, alongside management, in markets where sustainability became givens and moving now at a pace with ESG getting business set for the future is going to be crucial for successful enterprises.
Within the sector I’ve had several trade appointments and developed some of the best business management schools including Cranfield and Cambridge.
