About
I've had an international career now spanning 35+ years, mostly in engineering consultancy, also with time in regulation, product development and research. I specialise in highly regulated sectors such as energy, process, defence and transport.
I have an array of technical, business and DEI experience. This includes
- Extensive technical experience in a wide range of engineering sectors and projects
- Within engineering companies and suppliers, projects, bids, developing communities of practice, business development, marketing, strategy, team management, training etc.
- Being a pan-Wales DEI representative
Early in my career I opened a company's first regional office. I've taken income streams from zero to millions within a couple of years on several occasions. I set up global communities of practice at two international companies.
I’m an elected Fellow of two professional engineering societies and an accredited Member of two others. I currently sit on two steering committees, one working group, and peer review annual conference papers for two societies. I also mentor disadvantaged students in STEM career choices.
