1. New Product Development – Building a Brief
Thursday 11 April, 10am – 1pm
In order to develop and launch successful new products, you need to start with a comprehensive new product development brief.
This workshop is ideal for companies who have a product idea which they are looking to develop further or those looking to generate new product ideas.
2. New Product Development – The Stage Gate Process
Tuesday 23 April, 9.30am – 1.30pm
New and existing product development is underpinned by the Stage Gate Process. Learn how to develop and implement your own stage gate to support effective development of products.
3. New Product Development – Developing a Safe Product
Thursday 9 May, 9.30am – 1.30pm
Food safety is integral for any food and drink manufacturing company, especially when launching new or re-developed products.
Join us at this workshop to uncover key food safety considerations that should be given to your product and process prior to launching.
4. New Product Development – Legal Labelling Requirements
Tuesday 21 May, 10am – 1pm
Once you have developed a safe product and finalised the recipe, you will need to think about the information that will be printed on the packaging and what legislation must be complied with.
In this workshop we will navigate the list of mandatory labelling requirements using simple explanations and demonstrations. We will also highlight other voluntary information you may want to include and what to consider if you want to make nutritional or health claims.
