Business: Art on Scarves Limited
Lucy Talog Hay is the founder and creative force behind Art on Scarves, a North Wales based company that has grown from a small studio to an internationally recognised brand. Her collections of wearable art are now sold across the UK, the USA and Japan, with a growing presence in new markets. She understands first-hand the challenges that small businesses face when expanding, exporting and building brand visibility, having personally navigated the journey from local craft fairs to global trade platforms.
Before establishing Art on Scarves, Lucy spent many years working internationally as a trainer, coach and speaker. Her work in education and business development gave her a deep understanding of communication, motivation and growth. She brings this experience to her mentoring, combining practical business insight with a natural ability to inspire confidence and clarity in others.
As part of the Welsh Government’s business mentoring network, Lucy hopes to support small and medium-sized enterprises across Wales that are ready to take their next step. Whether that means exploring overseas markets, strengthening brand strategy or simply talking ideas through with someone who understands, she provides a listening ear, guidance and encouragement.
Lucy’s approach is warm, practical and empowering. She believes that every business, no matter how small, has the potential to thrive beyond its borders when given the right tools and support. Her mission is to help Welsh businesses think bigger, act boldly and share their unique strengths with the world, proving that with vision, determination and creativity, anything is possible.
