How many cyber-attacks happened last year?

4 out of 10 businesses suffered a cyber breach or attack last year, according to UK Government’s latest Cyber Security Breaches Survey. As the survey report states, “the pandemic has led to significant changes in ways of working. This has made cyber security harder for many organisations.”

The Cyber Resilience Centre for Wales

The Cyber Resilience Centre for Wales delivers free training and advice to businesses, working in partnership with Welsh Universities. Businesses can also benefit from free or enhanced membership which includes access to further guidance and resources. To find out more, visit their website.

The UK Government’s NCSC provides helpful advice to make the UK a safer place to work and do business online, as well as for individuals at home. Tarian ROCU

Tarian, the Regional Organised Crime Unit, is made up of the three police forces of Dyfed-Powys, Gwent and South Wales Police. Working with other organisations, Tarian investigates cybercrimes across south Wales, as well as providing support and training to organisations looking to become more cyber resilient.
